About Me

My photo
I am on a life journey seeking to live to the fullest in all things; seeking understanding of this universe I am a part of, seeking to know the Creator through nature and through this life I have been granted in the larger scope of things. My peace and harmony comes when I am most fulfilled. I am fulfilled when I am true to self and seeking to connect with and serve humanity. I serve humanity one person at a time, receiving a person for who they are, connecting with them, sharing myself and the insights of my journey with them hoping to leave them better than I found them. Through my life and writings, I help people connect with a greater sense of self, nature, and God. My desire is that they recognize the handiwork of nature's God, the Creator, and turn to His Word to find out who He is and who His son Jesus Christ is and how He set up life for all of us to live it to the fullest, to learn, to enjoy, to self-actualize in the greatest possible way. These are the voyages of the human being DE Navarro and his bold mission to life life to the fullest and help others along the way.

 I Am A River

I do not stand still
I do not wait in a pool
I do not fall from the sky in pieces
I do not float vaporous as a revenant
I am not a current that flows along
in the vast ocean of humanity.

I am a river.

If I mystify you by the way I
bend and twist through the valley
grabbing and pulling at
that which interests me as I pass;
or by how I overflow my banks
pick up strays abandoned and
slip back into the drive forward—
at least you'll know I never linger.

I am a river.

I absorb feeders
graft wandering side-streams,
suck in the massive falling rush,
integrate collective trickles,

and gather loose junk

as I course on by.

It might joggle your mind
to know I am enthralled with
making my bed in stones,
compelled to sing as I go,
ruing the day I empty myself

into passivity—
into the still memory of a placid sea

depositing my scraps and silt
in a grand estuary before
resting in the depths of a basin.
